Westernport Parish
Westernport Parish extends from Somerville in its northern end to Hastings and Shoreham in the South. The Parish centre is located In Marine Parade Hastings but Westernport Parish has three Mass centres for places of worship within its boundary namely Immaculate Conception Church Hastings (Marine Parade Hastings), St Brendan’s Somerville (Austin Rd Somerville) and St Peter’s Shoreham ( Byrnes Rd Shoreham) . Weekly Masses, and special liturgies are celebrated in each of these Mass centres and Sunday Mass is also celebrated at HMAS Cerberus.
The Parish Primary schools of St Mary’s Hastings, St Brendan’s Somerville and St Joseph’s Crib Point as well as the Tyabb Campus of Padua College also form part of the Westernport Parish community.

We are in need of Pasta & Sauces, Cans of Tuna, Salmon, Meat & Vegetables, Tins of Soup, Tinned fruit, tins of vegetables, Spaghetti, Diced Tomatoes. Spreads such as Jam, Peanut Butter, Vegemite, Honey. Packets of Sweet and Dry biscuits, Cereal, Tea and Coffee, Long Life Milk, Rice, Two Minute noodles and Cup of Soup packets, and toiletries.

WESTERN PORT PARISH PRIMARYSCHOOLS ST VINCENT DE PAUL ANNUALCHRISTMAS HAMPER APPEAL 2024
As part of the Minnie Vinnie’s Western Port Project, St Mary’s, St Joseph’s and St Brendan’s schools are working together to provide helping hand, by donating items to the
St.Vincent de Paul Christmas Hamper Appeal. Each year level has a different shopping list.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
Visit an Aged Care Resident
Are you able to visit one of our elderly Parishioners once a week or every fortnight for
about an hour or so, for friendship, a chat, or maybe a prayer or going out for a coffee together? Our parishioner, Frances, is now living at Western Port Bay Residential Aged
Care in Tyabb, has a 4-wheel walker and can go outside. If you chose to volunteer through MS Plus, you would be covered by insurance, and you could get assistance with all paperworkto get into the aged care home. For
