Gold Member venture south of the NSW border for the first time, playing their first ever headline shows in Victoria. Having only spawned in 2016, Goldy have already dropped two well-received singles ‘Rope Swing’ and ‘Stick The Moon’, and the boys – Az and Gus – are ready to bring the heat they deliver on record to their live shows.

Gold Member have had a golden year, from their formation earlier this year they’ve most recently shaken up dance floors on BOO Seeka’s National Tour and made a splash wherever they toured.

Sydney’s mintest electro-skank-hop duo Gold Member, transitions from modern hip-hop infused verses to its infectious 80s pop-style chorus. Gold Member presents Az on guitar + vocals and gung-ho Gus tearing up the turntables. Az’s space-sauce vocals keep the listener fixated while multi-instrumentalist Gus Goldie brings the electronic flavours, and the Goldfather holds it all together.

Stick The Moon follows on from their first single. The track would fit perfectly into any summer arvo playlist, with Gold Member’s signature lyrical flow and hypnotic guitar creating a distinctly Aussie vibe. The song itself is about celebrating failure, something that we’ve all had to do at one point or another. Life doesn’t always give you what you want, but it gives you what you need… Stick The Moon provides all those feels, and plenty more, exploring the breadth of depth of emotions.

Their first single,’Rope Swing’, made its way onto the airwaves at the J’s, getting play on Home and Hosed and Weekend Arvos, and ranking #8 on the Unearthed charts. The boys have been pretty stoked to see a few legends singing along at shows, too. Cop a listen on Unearthed HERE.

Gold Member have had a busy couple of months, supporting Sydney favourites Boo Seeka on their sold out tours around the country. Az and Gus will be heading out this summer for a couple of shows on the East Coast. They’ll also be on a couple of summer festivals, some yet to be announced. See dates below.
