About the Event
Welcom to Blues at The Briars Morningtons Premier blues event. We are back by popular demand for our fifth year. We will be providing another world class blues festival found on the stunning Mornington Peninsula. This is Mornington’s premier blues event and is not to be missed!
After our amazing debut over the last few festival featuring some of the biggest blues legends like Russell Morris, Eugene Hideaway Bridges, Lloyd Spiegel, Geoff Achison, Chris Wilson, Shannon Bourne, and up and comers such as Blue Eyes Cry and Blues Mountain and much more, the festival is continuity evolving year by year getting BIGGER and BIGGER. The determination by the organisers to feature the highest talent available has seen the festival become a “must see” and Mornington’s premier blues event.
Young local talent as well is featured at the festival with some exciting announcements and competition. All will be announced closer to the festival.
The Set Up
Blues at the Briars has a strong commitment to affordable and family friendly access. All this is set up in the amazing Briars Historic Homestead, found on the stunning Mornington Peninsula. We provide a dedicated secure children’s area and ensure that there is plenty of things for the little blues lovers to do.
The Bar
A fully stocked bar with locally sourced beers and wines, at very reasonable prices is available for your pleasure throughout the whole day. Not mention a wide variety of local foods and treats found all around the festival. Check out the FAQ’S for more information.
The Vibe
We are also proud to say we maintain a boutique relaxed vibe that makes the day such a pleasure. Come along and enjoy the festival, relax on a picnic rug and absorb the blues tunes. We strongly recommend dancing whenever you get the chance
